Job summary

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of verifiable experience performing complex technical or clerical duties in a human resources environment.
• Ability to type/keyboard 40 words per minute.
• Knowledge of federal and state leave laws (FMLA, CFRA, PDL) and disability management.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and discretion.
• Ability to coordinate workflows and manage case queues.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Tier I contact for Disability & Leave Services and respond to routine inquiries.
• Support administration of leave, disability, return-to-work and related programs.
• Receive, review, log, and coordinate intake for leave requests; manage workflow queues.
• Coordinate administrative workflow and monitor deadlines.
• Enter and verify employee information in HR systems and ensure data accuracy.
• Prepare recurring reports and dashboards for workload management.
• Coordinate workshops and program activities related to Disability & Leave Services.
• Collaborate with Payroll, Benefits, Staffing, and other District departments.
