Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• 3+ years of work experience preferred.
• 1-2 years’ experience in a disability or leave claims environment required.
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage disability and paid leave claims within regulatory timelines.
• Review claimant, employer, medical, and other documents to determine eligibility and benefits.
• Make timely decisions to approve, pend, or deny claims per regulations and procedures.
• Communicate with claimants, policyholders, employers, and providers to obtain needed information.
• Maintain clear, complete claim documentation including decisions and actions.
• Collaborate across teams to resolve claim issues and escalate complex cases.
• Contribute to projects and process improvements.
