Job summary

Bancroft is seeking a Leave Manager in New Jersey to administer leave programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver proactive employee support. The role involves close collaboration with payroll, HR partners, and external vendors to manage leave workflows end-to-end.

You will act as a subject matter expert on federal and state leave policies, including FMLA, NJ FLA, and paid sick leave, while maintaining confidentiality and high-quality service.

Qualifications

• BS in HR, business administration, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• 3–6 years of HR or Leave Administration experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer leave programs including FMLA, NJ FLA, NJ Paid Sick Leave, Workers' Comp, and personal leaves.
• Serve as primary contact for external vendors, internal partners, and employees.
• Communicate with employees regarding leave requests, documentation, and timelines.
• Track leave usage, balances, and return-to-work processes.
• Coordinate with Payroll to ensure accurate timekeeping during leaves.
• Initiate and monitor long-term disability claims as applicable.
• Maintain communication with employees, managers, healthcare providers, and state agencies.
