Job summary

Point Blank Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Production Technician II to support leather goods assembly in a climate-controlled facility. You will help keep production on schedule, inspect parts, and handle edge trimming, gluing, and riveting as needed.

The role requires familiarity with leather materials, adherence to safety rules, and the ability to work across multiple stations with a proactive mindset for quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 1 year of general manufacturing experience preferred.
• Requires basic math skills sufficient for each specialty area, which includes addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Basic reading and writing skills required.

Responsibilities

• Safely handling materials, tools, and supplies used in the department.
• Ensuring the product has correct parts and is properly cut and processed for quality.
• Performing some minor machine maintenance as required.
• Recognizing machine malfunctions and notifying the group leader promptly.
• Meeting schedules and maintaining quality requirements daily.
• Filling in at any production floor position as needed by the group leader.
• Following safety rules and using PPE or guards as required.
• Maintaining a safe, clean workstation and reporting hazards.
• Keeping equipment and tools stored properly.
• Using knowledge of leather and synthetic materials to ensure quality manufacturing.
• Proactively suggesting job improvements and quality enhancements.
