Job summary

Point Blank Enterprises in Puerto Rico is seeking a diligent sewing machine operator to join our production line. You will read work orders, set up machines, sew components, inspect stitching quality, and maintain clean, safe work areas.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to stand for long periods, and the capacity to work quickly in a fast-paced environment; previous sewing experience preferred.

• Ability to read and follow written work instructions and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Follow sewing instructions, production procedures, and quality standards.
• Operate industrial sewing machines and related equipment.
• Read work orders and determine material requirements and machine settings.
• Thread machines, replace needles, adjust settings, and perform maintenance.
• Inspect finished products and repair defects as needed.
• Align materials and ensure proper assembly and stitching.
• Monitor machine performance and report malfunctions or quality concerns.
• Maintain clean, safe, organized work area and comply with SOPs.
• Assist with other production-related duties as assigned.
