Job summary

PTLA is seeking a Leasing Specialist for a student housing community. You will generate interest, greet and tour prospects, and close leases while managing applications and screenings.

Collaborate with management to ensure curb appeal and a superior resident experience, and help implement innovative leasing strategies. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of leasing or sales experience, strong closing and communication skills, and familiarity with Yardi, Entrata, or RealPage.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of leasing or sales experience preferred.
• Proven ability to meet and exceed leasing or sales goals.
• Strong sales and closing skills with a track record of high performance.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
• Creative thinker able to adapt strategies to connect with prospects.
• Familiarity with property management software (Yardi, Entrata, RealPage) a plus.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and compliance standards a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred.
• Motivated, goal-oriented, and persistent in following leads.
• Availability on evenings and weekends may be necessary.

Compensation
