Job summary

Ptla-Real-Estate-Group is seeking a Leasing Specialist in Lubbock, Texas to drive occupancy and revenue at a student housing community. You will creatively showcase features, greet and tour prospects, present value propositions, and close leases across the entire leasing process.

The role requires 1–3 years of leasing or sales experience, strong communication, and the ability to develop innovative leasing strategies. Evening/weekend availability may be necessary to meet leasing demand.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of leasing or sales experience preferred.
• Proven ability to meet and exceed leasing or sales goals.
• Strong sales and closing skills, with a track record of high performance.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
• Creative thinker who can adapt strategies to connect with a wide range of prospects.
• Familiarity with property management software (e.g., Yardi, Entrata, RealPage) a plus.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and compliance standards a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in business, real estate, correlated field preferred.
• Highly motivated and goal-oriented.
• Creative and adaptable in approach.
• Strong closer with the drive to succeed.
• Professional, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Persistent and willing to chase down leads.
• Availability on evenings and weekends may be necessary to meet leasing demand.

Responsibilities

Compensation

$11-$15/hour, plus bonus potential for meeting leasing goals.
