Job summary

Bridgewater Apartments in Carmel, IN seeks a Leasing Counselor to handle leasing, marketing, and resident relations for a luxury multi-family community. Two years of sales experience in a similar setting is preferred, with strong communication skills and a willingness to obtain Fair Housing certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of sales experience in multi-family leasing or similar customer-focused environment.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve concerns.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Fair Housing Certification or willingness to obtain before interacting with residents.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Record all visits on reports.
• Inspect models and communicate service needs; coordinate with Community Manager.
• Demonstrate community and apartment/model; communicate features and benefits to prospects; close the sale.
• Update availability, process applications (credit check, rental history); submit to Community Manager for approval; follow up.
• Ensure apartment is ready for move-in on the agreed date.
• Follow up with prospects who did not close and attempt again.
• Assist in monitoring renewals and distribute renewal notices.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.
