Job summary

MAA LoSo in Charlotte is seeking a Leasing Consultant to greet prospective residents, explain the value of living at a MAA community, and guide them through the leasing process.

The role emphasizes a friendly, sales-driven approach, willingness to learn local regulations, and collaboration with the leasing team to drive occupancy and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in sales, hospitality, customer service, and/or leasing.
• Knowledge of apartment management laws and regulations is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Interact with prospective residents and communicate the value and experience of living at a MAA community.
• Secure lease agreements and initiate screening of prospective residents.
• Communicate lease expirations and facilitate renewals.
• Assist with property marketing activities and resident events.

The Leasing Consultant supports the leasing operations and financial performance of an assigned apartment community for MAA. Primary responsibilities include interacting with prospective residents, communicating thevalue and overall experience of living ata MAA community, and securing lease agreements. Initiates theprocess to screenprospective residents. Communicates lease expirations and facilitates lease renewals. Assists with property marketing activities and resident events.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in sales, hospitality, customer service, and/or leasing
• Knowledge of apartment management laws and regulations at the federal, state, and local levels preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
• High school diploma/GED, Bachelor’s degree preferred
