Bender Companies is seeking a dynamic Leasing Consultant to join our Omaha team. This on-site role focuses on driving high occupancy by guiding prospective residents through the leasing process and ensuring exceptional service.

Full-Time position with a schedule including Saturdays; base pay $19–$20/hr plus $100 per new lease commission and a share of renewals. Strong relationship-building and compliance knowledge are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience as Leasing Consultant or in a sales-focused role.
• Track record of exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Customer-first mindset with ability to build rapport and tailor solutions.
• Strong knowledge of local leasing laws, fair housing, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Present available apartments to prospects through in-person, virtual, and written communications.
• Collaborate with Community Manager to attract and qualify tenants.
• Market vacant units using online listings, social media, signage, and outreach events.
• Communicate features, pricing, availability, and lease terms clearly.
• Guide prospects through leasing process from inquiry to signed lease, ensuring policy compliance.
• Stay informed about local rental market and trends.
• Inspect model units and vacant apartments for presentation and function.
• Assist with resident retention, events, and ongoing customer service.
