Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Leasing Consultant to coordinate marketing, leasing and renewal strategies for the community, driving occupancy, revenue, and resident retention. You will handle tours, screenings, and lease signings, while ensuring a smooth move‑in and renewal process.

You will also implement marketing plans, manage property data in on‑site software, and collaborate with maintenance to keep show units in top condition.

Qualifications

• Experience in leasing and property management a plus.
• Valid driver's license to operate golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects; conduct community tours and show apartments; process applications; perform credit and background checks; prepare lease and move‑in package.
• Maintain move‑in ready apartments; coordinate with maintenance for outstanding items.
• Monitor market conditions; develop short/long‑term marketing plans and goals to sustain occupancy.
• Design and execute marketing activities; use online platforms and referral/employer outreach programs to drive traffic.
• Track availability and leasing activity using on‑site software; manage resident and prospect data.
• Ensure show units meet company standards; coordinate maintenance and upkeep; prepare leasing office for daily activities.
• Follow up with prospects and residents; send emails/notes or call to finalize lease or renewal decisions.
• Support lease renewal program: prepare renewal letters/packages and contact renewing residents ahead of move‑out dates.
• Respond promptly to resident/owner questions and document requests.
