Job summary

Banyan Living, LLC is seeking an Experienced Leasing Agent to join our team in Ohio. You will leverage your leasing experience to market our properties, negotiate lease terms, and deliver exceptional customer service to prospective and current residents.

The role focuses on leading property tours, processing applications with thorough credit/background checks, and ensuring Fair Housing compliance while building relationships to boost occupancy and referrals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of leasing experience in residential property management or related field.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• In-depth knowledge of leasing processes, property management systems, and Fair Housing regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software.
• Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead property tours and presentations with professionalism and detailed knowledge of each community.
• Process applications, perform thorough credit and background checks, and qualify prospective residents in compliance with Fair Housing laws.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospects and residents to foster community retention and referrals.
• Collaborate with management to implement marketing strategies aimed at increasing leasing performance and occupancy rates.
• Prepare accurate lease agreements and ensure all documentation complies with company policies and legal requirements.
• Provide mentorship and training to junior leasing staff as needed.
