Job summary

AMH in Atlanta, GA seeks a Leasing Agent to be the company’s primary sales representative for prospective residents, driving occupancy through consultative selling, relationship building and lease conversion. Responsibilities include presenting housing options, negotiating leases, and closing deals with strong customer service.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, 3+ years in sales or related field, and a State Real Estate License.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum three (3) years of related sales or customer-facing sales experience required.
Leasing, real estate, or property management experience preferred.
A valid State Real Estate License is required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) is required.

Responsibilities

Respond to inquiries to drive occupancy and follow up with prospective residents.
Engage with potential tenants, presenting housing options to encourage applications.
Negotiate lease terms and explain leases and related documents to new tenants.
Perform leasing activities in accordance with applicable laws to maximize occupancy.
Collaborate with underwriting and leasing teams to guide applicants through the leasing journey.
Stay informed about company policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
