Denton Floyd Real Estate Group is seeking an energetic Leasing Specialist to join our Property Management team in Whiteland, IN.

You will greet prospects, manage applications, negotiate terms, and promote units while maintaining records and coordinating maintenance with a focus on resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of residential property management leasing experience.
• 1 year of Yardi experience.
• Knowledge of leasing rules and regulations.
• Proven track record in sales and customer service.
• Strong communication with in-person and phone interaction.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospects, qualify leads, and present properties using feature/benefit selling.
• Complete lease applications, assist with verification, and notify applicants promptly.
• Negotiate leasing terms and execute lease agreements.
• Address resident concerns promptly and professionally.
• Promote units via social media and other channels.
• Conduct periodic property inspections and ensure maintenance.
• Maintain resident records and update daily reports (vacancy, notices, activity).

Responsibilities

• Greet prospective residents warmly, qualify leads, and present properties in a persuasive, professional manner using feature/benefit selling techniques
• Complete lease applications, assist with verification, and notify applicants of results promptly
• Negotiate leasing terms and execute lease agreements
• Respond quickly and professionally to resident concerns and service requests
• Promote available units through social media and other marketing channels
• Conduct periodic property inspections and ensure proper maintenance
• Maintain accurate resident records and update daily reports (vacancy, notice to vacate, activity

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of residential property management leasing experience
• 1 year of Yardi experience
• Knowledge of leasing rules and regulations
• Proven track record in sales and customer service
• Warm, friendly, and professional communication style — in person and by phone
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Must be available to work weekends as needed
• Ability to speak Spanish is a plus
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Must pass drug screening and background check
