You will greet prospective tenants, conduct tours, present pricing and lease terms, process applications, and help ensure high occupancy. The role emphasizes prompt handling of inquiries, rent collection, and accurate record keeping to support excellent tenant experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or property leasing preferred.
• Strong communication skills with ability to negotiate lease terms.
• Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in data entry and maintaining tenant records.
• Detail-oriented with multitasking and prioritization abilities.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist prospective tenants in a professional and friendly manner
• Conduct property tours and showcase available units to potential renters
• Provide accurate information about rental properties, including pricing, amenities, and lease terms
• Process rental applications and perform background checks on applicants
• Prepare lease agreements and ensure all required documents are completed accurately

As Leasing Specialist, you will be a key part of how we manage our Columbia, SC portfolio daily. You will be on a critical team responsible for helping ensure tenants have the best possible rental experience. This role reports to the Area Manager and assists in handling all leasing-related tasks at the apartment communities within the region to ensure occupancy remains strong. Speed is critical, so a sense of urgency is important as work orders need to be resolved promptly.
