Job summary

Rental Asset Management LLC seeks an Assistant Property Manager to support day‑to‑day operations at a multifamily community. You’ll assist with leasing, resident relations, and administrative tasks to maintain high occupancy and smooth operations.

You’ll manage tours, applications, renewals, move-ins/outs, and coordinate with maintenance, while upholding Fair Housing guidelines and delivering strong customer service in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in multifamily property management, leasing, or similar role.
• Knowledge of leasing processes and Fair Housing requirements.
• Strong customer service, sales, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with property management software is preferred.
• English and Spanish proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Manage prospect inquiries, property tours, and follow up throughout the leasing process.
• Process applications, screenings, lease agreements, renewals, and required documentation.
• Coordinate move-ins and move-outs and work with maintenance on unit readiness.
• Assist residents with lease-related questions, requests, and concerns.
• Maintain accurate resident and leasing records in property management systems.
• Support resident retention and renewal efforts.
• Assist with outstanding balance follow-up when required.
• Support property reporting and daily administrative and operational needs.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing requirements and policies.
• Support leadership in achieving occupancy and property performance goals.
