Job summary

Independent Management Services in Detroit, MI is seeking a leasing professional to manage all rental sales from inquiry to close and to support resident relations. You will respond to inquiries, conduct tours, qualify applicants, and process renewals while generating leads through referrals and marketing.

Proficiency with Paycom and RealPage OneSite is preferred, and experience with HUD Section 8 subsidies is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in rental sales and lead nurturing.
• Knowledge of HUD Section 8 subsidies.
• Proven leasing and tenant-relations track record.
• Familiarity with property management software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• All rental sales activities from lead generation through close.
• Respond to rental inquiries, perform unit tours, qualify applicants, and complete lease renewals.
• Generate qualified rental leads via referrals, networking, and company-supported advertising.
• Receive and resolve resident requests and concerns; organize resident events to boost retention.
• Report directly to the Site Manager.
