The Penhurst Collective in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Leasing & Resident Experience Consultant to turn leads into leases and deliver a polished, high-touch resident experience from inquiry to move-in and beyond.

You will work under the Community Manager to drive occupancy, renewals, and strong resident relations, leveraging your sales skills and tech comfort to navigate a fast-paced, luxury environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in apartment leasing, sales, luxury residential, high-end retail, hospitality, or another high-touch customer-facing role.
• Strong sales instincts and comfort working toward measurable goals.
• Excellent organization, time management, accuracy, and follow-through.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a polished, approachable presence.
• Confidence using technology and learning new systems.
• Strong Microsoft 365 skills, especially Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
• Comfort using Canva.
• Reliability, punctuality, curiosity, coachability, and a team-first mindset.
• Weekend availability based on the leasing schedule.

Responsibilities

• Manage prospects from initial inquiry through tour, application, lease execution, and move-in.
• Conduct personalized tours, communicate value, handle objections, and secure leases.
• Stay updated on availability, pricing, floorplans, concessions, amenities, policies, and competitors.
• Proactively generate business by reconnecting with prospects and creating outreach opportunities.
• Support renewals and resident retention through strong communication and service.
• Respond to resident needs with urgency and a solution-focused mindset.
• Screen applications and prepare leasing documentation per rental criteria and Fair Housing requirements.
• Assist with Airbnb guest experience, including listings, cleaning coordination, and turnover needs.
• Maintain accurate leasing activity, prospect info, files, reporting, and deadlines.
• Collaborate with Community Manager and property team to hit occupancy, conversion, renewal, and leasing goals.

• Stay sharp on availability, pricing, floorplans, concessions, amenities, policies, and nearby competitors.

• Support renewals and resident retention through strong communication, follow-through, and service.

• Respond to resident needs with urgency, professionalism, and a solution-focused mindset.

• Screen applications and prepare leasing documentation accurately and in accordance with rental criteria and Fair Housing requirements.

• Support the day-to-day guest experience for the property's Airbnb, including listing updates, cleaning coordination, and turnover needs.

• Keep leasing activity, prospect information, files, reporting, and deadlines accurate and organized.

• Work closely with the Community Manager and property team to achieve occupancy, conversion, renewal, and leasing goals.

What We're Looking For

You don't need to know everything on day one, but you do need to be someone who learns quickly, follows through, and figures things out.

We're looking for:
