Job summary

BRIXMOR Property Group is seeking a Leasing Representative to manage a portfolio of retail properties and drive leasing activity across the region. You will source tenants, negotiate lease terms, renewals, and build market relationships with tenants, brokers and owners.

This role requires 3-5 years of retail leasing experience, strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to analyze leases and market trends. A hybrid schedule is offered with in-office and remote work.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree required.
• 3-5 years of retail leasing experience.
• Strong deal sheet experience.
• canvassing and cold calling experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Skilled in relationship building, negotiation, mathematics, time management and organization.
• Demonstrate initiative, persistence, ambition, good judgement and confidentiality.
• Ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

• Source new tenants and negotiate lease parameters.
• Negotiate and complete lease renewals, coordinating with legal/environmental teams.
• Establish tenant and industry relationships across the region.
• Perform market surveys and cold calls to identify prospects.
• Develop and send marketing packages to potential tenants.
• Analyze ROI, NPV and other financial metrics for leases.
• Travel region to manage leasing activities.
• Maintain knowledge of competing centers and rental rates.

This position reports to the VP, Leasing and is responsible for a portfolio of retail properties.
