Job summary

Bienville Basin Apartments in New Orleans, LA, seeks an Assistant Property Manager to support property operations, accounting, rent reporting, and collections. The role also assists leasing, resident services, and retention efforts.

Responsibilities include handling inquiries, touring and marketing apartments, processing applications, renewals, and maintaining compliant records. Experience with tax-credit properties and Yardi is preferred; strong Excel skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience as an Assistant Property Manager
• Tax-credit experience required
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office is preferred
• Knowledge of LIHTC, HOME, HUD requirements is preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and residents
• Respond to inquiries and generate leads
• Tour and market apartments to close prospects
• Process applications, renewals, and recertifications
• Maintain leasing presentations and Fair Housing compliance
• Coordinate inspections and move-ins with Housing Agencies
• Manage Yardi data entry, renewals, and notices
• Collect rents and document payments, deposits, and fees
• Prepare weekly/monthly reports with the management team
• Assist with outreach, marketing, and resident relations
