Pegasus Residential is seeking an Assistant Property Manager for the Mesa/Gilbert area, near Phoenix, AZ. You will handle leasing, resident relations, and on-site administration while learning to assume greater responsibilities in the Community Manager role.

You will support daily property operations, assist in financial tasks, and ensure the property meets Pegasus standards. This role offers growth into a Community Manager position within the Pegasus portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Assume supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the Community Manager.
• Assist the Community Manager in onsite duties to manage the property per Pegasus policy.
• Complete special projects assigned by the Community Manager.
• Lease apartments to qualified prospects using product knowledge and closing techniques, building rapport with customers.
• Respond promptly to walk-in and telephone prospects and log activity daily.
• Prepare and submit lease files and verification documents for manager approval.
• Follow up with prospects within 24 hours by phone and in writing.
• Review monthly financial reports with the Community Manager and suggest revenue improvements.
• Maintain property cleanliness and ensure turnkey readiness of apartment homes.
• Ensure accurate cash handling and daily deposits as per procedures.
• Support in move-ins/move-outs, and maintain vendor and paperwork records.
