Job summary

Knoxville's Community Development Corporation is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support the management of a residential apartment community on site. The role includes leasing vacant units, processing recertifications, and conducting inspections to ensure safety, compliance, and property presentation.

You will collaborate with Property Manager and regulatory staff to maintain occupancy, enforce lease terms, and coordinate with external agencies to assist residents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in business administration, public administration, social services, or a related field.
• Minimum of two years of experience in residential property management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software (e.g., Yardi).

Responsibilities

• Lease apartments and coordinate move-ins, renewals, and screening processes.
• Maintain resident records and ensure compliance with program rules.
• Conduct move-out and unit inspections and assist with unit turns.
• Process rent changes and re-examinations in accordance with regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and coworkers.
• Address resident concerns and coordinate with compliance and regulatory staff.
