Job summary

DHA Housing Solutions for North Texas is seeking a Leasing Professional II to interview applicants for public housing programs, verify eligibility, and maintain client files. You will conduct eligibility interviews, determine rent, and ensure accurate documentation while upholding confidentiality and policy guidelines.

The role involves assisting with unit showings, lease signing, and responding to inquiries.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Public Administration or related field.
  • Two (2) years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Rent Calculation Certification required within 6 months of appointment.

Responsibilities

  • Greets and assists clients and collects data within scope of authority.
  • Conducts eligibility interviews for public housing programs and performs annual/interim reexaminations.
  • Computes tenant rent and determines eligibility of applicants and residents.
  • Maintains client files and responds to information requests.
  • Explains DHA programs and maintains confidentiality of information.
  • Supports Property Management office operations as needed.
  • Shows and leases units to prospective residents and manages move-in/move-out procedures.
