Job summary

Cardinal Group Companies is seeking an Assistant Leasing & Marketing Team Leader in Tempe to support the Community Manager. This full-time, on-site role focuses on leasing, marketing, and resident relations to drive occupancy and pre-leasing activity.

You will handle inquiries, greet clients, process applications, and maintain records while contributing to a dynamic, customer-focused team culture. Evening/weekend shifts required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of customer service and sales experience.
• High energy and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong desire to deliver excellent service.
• Excellent phone and in-person customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills: typing and writing for memos and correspondence.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Available to work evenings and weekends.
• Ability to embody Cardinal Culture and Cardinal Core Values.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospective clients, identify needs, present the property, and close sales.
• Answer calls professionally and route inquiries appropriately.
• Complete lease applications and verify results.
• Maintain accurate client records per policy.
• Update daily vacancy and activity reports.
• Maintain tour route for curb appeal.
• Assist residents through the concierge program.
• Participate in Cardinal U training as required.
