Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively to comprehend legal documents and explain apartment features.

Responsibilities

• Perform sales and leasing activities in person to meet occupancy and revenue goals.
• Show apartments, process applications, conduct credit and background checks, prepare leases.
• Develop short- and long-term marketing plans to sustain occupancy and follow site policies on concessions and specials.
• Design and execute offsite marketing activities to drive traffic using internet tools and referrals.
• Use property management software (Yardi, etc.) to track availability, data, and reporting.
• Inspect show units to ensure quality and coordinate with maintenance for needed work.
• Follow up with prospects and renewals to maximize lease signings and renewals.
• Prepare lease renewal letters and packages and coordinate with renewing residents.
