Job description

Corcoran New Development had a banner year in 2024 as we introduced some of NYC’s highest profile and significant developments in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens, with big plans for 2025. We are expanding our coverage in NYC, opening new construction properties throughout the city, and will have projects in all 5 New York boroughs as well as New Jersey. We are excited to announce a new leasing project in Queens, NY, and are in search of a Leasing Manager. Candidates must be willing to work weekends.

Core Duties include but are not limited to:

1. Lead all aspects of daily leasing operations for assigned new development sites.
2. Respond to inquiries and schedule property tours for interested prospects.
3. Provide overviews for general inquiries in the leasing office.
4. Conduct property and residence tours, presenting tailored to prospects' needs and concerns.
5. Follow up on questions and requests from prospects or their agents, actively pursuing all leads.
6. Explain leasing and approval processes clearly to prospects.
7. Develop monthly rental rate and concession reports for the competitive set.
8. Maintain property pricing grids and inventory.
9. Assist with leasing traffic reports for the developer and teams.
10. Support leasing associates with rental terms and facilitate lease signings.
11. Engage with management regarding customer and property feedback.
12. Report on advertising campaign effectiveness and update marketing strategies.
13. Create property condition and comparable reports.
14. Lead weekly marketing meetings with development partners.
15. Manage relationships with local brokerage firms to boost outside activity.
16. Work directly with senior leadership in New Development rentals.

Job Requirements:

1. At least 5 years of proven experience in real estate brokerage, preferably with a focus on new development marketing.
2. Minimum of 3 years in leasing, with experience managing people preferred.
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
4. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to changing conditions.
5. Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
6. Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and experience with On-site.com tenant screening software.
