Job summary

Jobot Consulting is seeking an experienced Temporary Leasing Manager for a 97-unit Class B/C multifamily property in Los Angeles. You will oversee on-site leasing, execute aggressive lease-up strategies, manage prospect flow, and drive rapid occupancy while handling all leasing activity through AppFolio.

Compensation is $25 per hour with a potential $275 per 12-month lease, for a temporary/contract role starting immediately.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Leasing Manager or Senior Leasing Consultant in multi-family property management.
• Experience managing Class B & C residential properties in urban Los Angeles submarkets.
• Track record of executing fast-paced lease-ups and managing high-volume vacancy turnarounds.
• Strong knowledge of local Los Angeles rental laws and Fair Housing guidelines.
• Mandatory: Proficiency with AppFolio Property Manager.

Responsibilities

• Vacancy Turnaround: Drive full-cycle leasing operations to fill 20+ open units efficiently through high prospect conversion rates.
• AppFolio Operations: Utilize AppFolio to track leads, process online applications, execute background/credit screenings, and generate lease agreements.
• Tours & Sales: Conduct in-person property tours and walkthroughs, highlighting unit features and local neighborhood benefits.
• Applicant Screening: Review prospective tenant applications, verify income and credit history in compliance with California Fair Housing laws, and coordinate move-in dates.
• Unit Turn Alignment: Partner with on-site maintenance to monitor ready-to-rent status and expedite turnarounds.
