Friedman Williams is seeking a Leasing Transactional Paralegal in New York to support attorneys in commercial real estate transactions, including title review, closing checklists, filing, and lease abstracts.

Must have a bachelor’s degree and 4–5 years CRE experience, strong MS Office skills (Excel), excellent written and spoken communication, and the ability to manage a fast-paced environment with overtime.

• Assist attorneys in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions
• Review title commitments and surveys
• Order documents from the Secretary of State
• Order and review UCC, bankruptcy and litigation searches
• Prepare and manage closing checklists
• Lease abstracting and closing document preparation
