GMH Communities in Auburn, AL is seeking a Leasing Coordinator to be the first point of contact for prospects. The role supports the General Manager, drives traffic, and manages leasing activities and resident relations.

Responsibilities include tours, processing applications in Entrata, marketing planning, and coordinating with vendors. A strong customer-service orientation and knowledge of property operations are essential.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ experience in apartment, student housing, or leasing hospitality—Required
• Associates’ degree preferred; High school diploma required
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
• Must have a valid driver’s license and daily use of a car
• Outgoing, gregarious personality and a passion to serve; excellent written and verbal skills
• Active knowledge of online social media and social presence avenues

Responsibilities

• Develop an active knowledge of the community and major competition
• Build professional relationships with clients, residents, and vendors
• Follow all fair housing standards
• Become proficient on Entrata lease system and enter daily work orders
• Handle opening and closing procedures
• Lease apartments, respond to internet leads, schedule tours, and promote features
• Train leasing consultants on customer service, tours, and front desk etiquette
• Collaborate with GM to create a marketing plan including brochures and ads
• Conduct market surveys regularly
• Assist with leasing, resident activities, and branding
• Engage with residents and support community interactions
• Perform daily follow-up calls to residents about maintenance
• Identify areas of need on the property and in service
• Monitor and manage package tracking and delivery
