Bryten in the High Desert region of New Mexico is seeking a Leasing Consultant to welcome prospective residents and ensure an exceptional experience at Villas de la Terraza. You’ll guide tours, process applications, and coordinate with maintenance to uphold community standards.

The role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and a client-focused mindset, with on-site duties and opportunities to contribute to occupancy goals. Prior leasing or related experience is preferred.

• Conducting community tours and showcasing apartment homes and amenities.
• Assisting prospective residents throughout the leasing process, from initial inquiry through move-in.
• Processing rental applications, lease renewals, and related documentation accurately and efficiently.
• Responding to resident questions, concerns, and service requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Supporting resident retention efforts through outstanding customer service and community engagement.

The ideal candidate will have:Previous experience in leasing or a related field preferred.Outstanding customer service and interpersonal communication skills.Ability to build rapport, overcome objections, and effectively close leases.Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.Ability to communicate professionally both verbally and in writing.High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel.Experience with Yardi, ResMan, On-Site, or other property management software preferred.Basic math and financial comprehension skills.Bilingual skills are a plus but not required.Valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, and reliable transportation required.Why You’ll Love Working With UsWe believe in taking care of our team just as much as our residents.
