Job summary

Carleton Living is seeking a friendly Leasing Consultant to connect with people and create strong first impressions at The Citizen property (202 units). You will handle leasing, tours, payments, and renewals while contributing to curb appeal and resident relations.

You should bring 1+ year in multifamily management, tax-credit experience, and solid communication skills. Valid driver’s license and insurance are required. RealPage/Onesite knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in multifamily property management.
• Experience with tax-credit properties required.
• Familiarity with RealPage/Onesite is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and meet deadlines.
• Valid driver's license and proof of liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Handle leasing activities, contact prospects, schedule tours, and lease available apartments.
• Collect deposits, rent payments, and other fees; ensure accurate bookings.
• Ensure model units and available apartments are clean and ready for tours.
• Maintain a clean, organized office and assist curb appeal.
• Explain lease terms, policies, and qualification criteria to prospective residents.
• Use sales strategies to convert prospects into residents over the phone and in person.
• Build and maintain relationships with locator services and local businesses for marketing outreach.
• Screen applications and follow leasing processes according to company policy.
• Participate in outreach marketing efforts to generate leads.
• Engage with current residents and assist in the lease renewal process.
