Job summary

Banner Property Management in Vernon Hills, IL is seeking a personable, part-time Leasing Consultant to join our 120-unit community. You will lead property tours, respond to inquiries, guide prospects through the leasing process and support current residents.

This role requires weekend availability (Saturday 10 am-1 pm) and strong communication; training in Yardi/CRM is provided and commissions on new leases are offered.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in customer service, sales, or hospitality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A professional, positive, and adaptable attitude.
• Leasing or property management experience is a plus—Yardi/CRM experience preferred, but we’ll train the right person!
• Saturday availability required - 10 am to 1 pm
• Flexibility to cover additional shifts as needed for vacation or absence coverage
• Computer savvy
• Reliable personal transportaton required

Responsibilities

• Engage with prospective residents through tours, follow-ups, and personalized communication
• Assist with leasing paperwork, renewals, and rent collection
• Contribute to marketing and social media initiatives, as well as community events
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of property features, availability, and local market trends
• Provide exceptional customer service that strengthens resident satisfaction and retention
