Preiss is a leader in ownership and management of multifamily and student housing communities. Quantum on West Call is seeking a Leasing Consultant to manage day-to-day leasing and marketing operations while maintaining positive resident relations at the property in Tallahassee.

The role involves answering calls, greeting visitors, following up on leads, and supporting marketing initiatives with campus outreach, on-site events, and promotional activities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum: 1 year customer service and/or sales experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to resolve escalated customer concerns.
  • Understanding of Fair Housing

Responsibilities

  • Leasing: Answer calls and persuade potential residents to visit the property or website.
  • Marketing: Attend events and build relationships with universities and local businesses to drive prospects.
  • Greet residents and visitors professionally and resolve questions/concerns promptly.
  • Reporting and Administrative: Generate mailings, collect checks, file leases.

Property Name: Quantum on West Call

Leasing Consultant:Leasing Consultants are responsible for completing the day-to-day leasing and marketing operations of the property while maintaining positive resident relations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Leasing
    • Answer calls and persuade potential residents to visit the property or the property website
    • Greet potential residents, parents and visitors in a professional manner
    • Pursue leads by completing daily follow ups in leasing database
    • Place delinquency phone calls
    • Complete guest cards and send thank-you notes
  • Marketing
    • Attend and participate in resident events and event clean up
    • Create working relationships with universities, local institutions, employers, local businesses, cultural centers to help drive prospects to property
    • Execute and promote resident events
    • Set up on campus and hand out promotional items
    • Community Marketing- meet with local businesses, flyer put out, etc
    • Tour competitors on frequent basis to gather information on leasing strategies (i.e. specials, occupancy, prelease percentages, and property upkeep)
  • Greet existing and potential residents
  • Address and resolve questions/concerns in a timely manner
  • Reporting and Administrative
    • Generate mailings
    • Collect checks and monies owed
    • File leases
Skills/Experience:
  • Minimum: (1) year customer service and/or sales experience;Excellent customer service skills and ability to resolve escalated customer concerns;Understanding of Fair Housing
  • Preferred: Property Management leasing experience

Education:

Minimum: High school diploma, some college

Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
