Job summary

MAA is seeking a Leasing Consultant to join our team at a Westchase community in Charleston. You will engage prospective residents, explain the benefits of living at a MAA community, and drive leasing performance through excellent customer service.

You will screen applicants, discuss lease expirations, and support renewals while assisting with marketing activities and resident events. A background in sales or hospitality and MS Office proficiency are preferred requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, hospitality, customer service, or leasing.
• Knowledge of apartment management laws at federal/state/local levels preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Interact with prospective residents to drive leasing.
• Communicate the value and experience of living at a MAA community.
• Secure lease agreements with applicants.
• Screen prospective residents for eligibility.
• Communicate lease expirations and facilitate renewals.
