Capital Square Living is seeking a Leasing Consultant for Colony at Centerpointe in Midlothian, VA. You will be the primary contact for prospective residents and manage marketing, leasing, and renewals to reach occupancy and revenue goals.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, organization, and familiarity with property software (Yardi preferred). A team‑oriented attitude in a competitive environment is valued.

Qualifications

• School or GED (General Education Diploma)
• Previous leasing experience a plus
• Excellent organizational skills and customer service mindset
• Strong computer technology skills with basic knowledge of MS Office Suite
• Yardi/Yardi Voyager experience a plus
• A valid driver’s license may be required
• A positive, motivating and team-oriented attitude
• A desire to exceed in a very competitive environment

Responsibilities

• Performs all sales and leasing activities to achieve revenue and occupancy goals by greeting and qualifying prospects, conducting tours and showing apartments, processing applications, credit screening and background checks
• Prepares the lease and move-in package, ensuring a smooth move-in and lease signing
• Inspects apartments prior to move-in and coordinates any maintenance items
• Stays informed about market and competitor conditions affecting occupancy and sales
• Develops and implements short- and long-term marketing plans to sustain occupancy and follows policies on concessions and programs
• Uses on-site property management software (Yardi, etc.) to track availability, traffic, data, and resident information
• Responds promptly to resident concerns and questions and takes action to resolve issues
