Job summary

Burkentine Real Estate Group is seeking a Leasing Consultant to support on-site marketing, leasing and renewal strategies to achieve occupancy and revenue goals. You will greet prospects, conduct tours, show apartments, process applications, screen credit and background checks, prepare leases and move-in packages, and ensure a smooth move-in and lease signing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years+ and have a valid Driver’s License.
• Prior leasing/sales experience preferred; knowledge of landlord/tenant laws a plus.
• Ability to greet, qualify prospects and coordinate tours and leases.

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, process applications, and perform credit/background checks.
• Prepare lease and move-in packages, and ensure smooth move-in and lease signing.
• Inspect apartments prior to move-in and coordinate with maintenance for any items.
• Design and execute marketing activities to drive traffic to the community.
• Utilize OneSite/Yardi to track availability, traffic, and leasing activities.
• Follow up with residents to ensure satisfaction and renewals.
