Woodruff Property Management Company seeks an energetic Leasing Consultant to assist prospective residents, support leasing efforts, and provide outstanding service to current residents. The role focuses on marketing, leasing, and resident relations to ensure a smooth, welcoming experience across the community.

You will market, show, and lease apartments, assess budgets and needs, maintain inventory, verify applications, and coordinate move-ins and move-outs.

Qualifications

• Previous leasing or related sales experience required or preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Results‑oriented, self‑motivated and able to work independently.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Professional, friendly and customer‑service driven.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and some holidays.
• Reliable transportation to support property needs.
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
• Valid driver's license and clean MVR.

Responsibilities

• Market, show, and lease apartments to prospective residents.

• Maintain an updated inventory of available apartments and track renewals.
• Verify rental applications for accuracy and policy compliance.
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents.
• Assist in move-in and move-out process and ensure units are ready.
• Prepare move-in and welcome packages for new residents.
• Process service requests and follow up as needed.
• Represent the company in a professional and friendly manner.
• May work at other Woodruff properties as needed.
• Perform leasing and administrative duties as assigned.

This role is responsible for marketing, leasing, and resident relations, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for all tenants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Market, show, and lease apartments to prospective residents
• Establish rapport with potential residents, assess their budget, preferences, and needs
• Maintain an updated inventory of available apartments and track renewal information
• Verify rental applications for accuracy and compliance with company policies and housing regulations
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, assisting with inquiries and concerns
• Assist in the move-in and move-out process, ensuring apartments are clean and move-in ready
• Prepare move-in and welcome packages for new residents
• Process service requests for maintenance and follow‑up as needed
• Represent the company in a professional and friendly manner at all times
• May be required to work at other WPMC properties as needed
• Perform additional leasing and administrative duties as assigned

• Ability to walk properties, conduct apartment tours, and assist with move‑ins/move‑outs
• Frequent standing, walking, and light lifting (up to 25 lbs)
• Ability to use a computer, phone, and office equipment for extended periods
