Job summary

Woodruff Property Management Company is seeking an energetic Leasing Consultant to assist prospective residents, support leasing efforts, and provide outstanding service to current residents.

This role focuses on marketing, leasing, and resident relations to ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for all tenants, including conducting property tours, processing applications, and coordinating move-ins and renewals. A flexible schedule is required, with weekends and some holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous leasing or related sales experience is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Results-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail are required.
• Professional, friendly, and customer-service driven demeanor.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and some holidays as needed.
• Reliable transportation to support property needs.
• Must pass criminal background check and drug screening.
• Valid driver’s license with a clear MVR.

Responsibilities

• Market, show, and lease apartments to prospective residents.
• Establish rapport with potential residents and assess budget and needs.
• Maintain updated inventory of available units and track renewals.
• Verify rental applications for accuracy and compliance with policies.
• Provide outstanding customer service to residents and address inquiries.
• Assist move-in and move-out processes and prepare welcome packages.
• Process service requests for maintenance and follow up as needed.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.
• May work at other WPMC properties as needed.
• Perform additional leasing and administrative duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

• Market, show, and lease apartments to prospective residents
• Establish rapport with potential residents, assess their budget, preferences, and needs
• Maintain an updated inventory of available apartments and track renewal information
• Verify rental applications for accuracy and compliance with company policies and housing regulations
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, assisting with inquiries and concerns
• Assist in the move-in and move-out process, ensuring apartments are clean and move-in ready
• Prepare move-in and welcome packages for new residents
• Process service requests for maintenance and follow-up as needed
• Represent the company in a professional and friendly manner at all times
• May be required to work at other WPMC properties as needed
• Perform additional leasing and administrative duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

• Ability to walk properties, conduct apartment tours, and assist with move-ins/move-outs
