Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Leasing Consultant to act as the community's sales representative, greeting clients and presenting features to secure leases from qualified persons. Responsibilities include collecting deposits, processing applications, keeping models ready, and maintaining lease knowledge.

Strong communication, organization, and customer service experience are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
• The ability to remain professional and courteous in a fast-paced environment.
• Organized with attention to detail.
• Customer service experience preferred in a leasing role.

Responsibilities

• Collect a deposit and process future residents’ applications.
• Ensure model/target apartments are ready for show and maintain a clean workspace.
• Maintain knowledge of lease terms, unit specs, availability, and policies.
• Utilize proper customer service and sales techniques.
• Maintain contact with apartment locator services and local businesses for information materials.
• Conduct outreach marketing and compare with surrounding properties.
• Develop and maintain resident retention programs.
• Create new move-in resident files and assist with file maintenance.
• Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents.
• Handle resident requests and complaints courteously and efficiently.
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times.
