Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Leasing Consultant to serve as the community's sales representative, greeting clients, presenting features, and securing lease agreements from qualified applicants.

Responsibilities include ensuring model apartments are ready, maintaining knowledge of terms, and using professional customer service and sales techniques; benefits include competitive compensation and full-time hours.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
• Professional and courteous in a fast-paced environment.
• Organized with attention to detail.
• Customer service experience preferred in a leasing role.

Responsibilities

• Collect a deposit and process future residents’ applications.
• Ensure model/target apartments are ready for show and workspace is clean.
• Maintain knowledge of lease terms, unit specs, availability and policies.
• Utilize customer service and sales techniques.
• Maintain contact with apartment locator services and local businesses.
• Shop surrounding properties and conduct outreach marketing.
• Develop and maintain resident retention programs.
• Create new move-in resident files and assist with file maintenance.
• Report unusual or extraordinary property or resident circumstances.
• Handle resident requests and complaints courteously and efficiently.
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times.
