Job summary

Arbour Valley Management, LLC is seeking a Leasing Consultant to interface with prospective residents, explain lease terms, and coordinate renewals. The role focuses on marketing the community, handling daily resident issues, and maintaining curb appeal.

Responsibilities include greeting visitors, processing applications and leases, conducting move-in inspections, keeping accurate rent and vacancy data, and collaborating with the Property Manager to meet occupancy goals.

Qualifications

• Experience applying Fair Housing standards in interactions with residents.
• Ability to interpret, explain and follow detailed written instructions clearly.

Responsibilities

• Greets visitors and determines if the community meets the client’s qualifications.
• Explains lease and community policies to new and current residents.
• Follows Fair Housing Standards in all dealings with prospects and residents.
• Prepares and assists with leasing paperwork (applications, leases, addenda, credit checks).
• Collects security deposits, rent and all funds at move-in.
• Ensures apartments are ready for move-in with inspections and walkthroughs.
• Communicates changes in leased status to Maintenance and management.
• Supports marketing efforts and maintains knowledge of rent, vacancies, and pricing.
• Inspects vacant apartments and coordinates curb appeal with management.
• Maintains resident relations and coordinates retention/renewal activities.
