Job summary

Bader, a long-standing Minnesota property management firm, invites applications for a Leasing Consultant at Copper at Rosecott in Rosemount. This full-time, benefit-eligible role offers a schedule of Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays and compensation of $21–$23 per hour.

Responsibilities include mastering rental applications and policies, supporting renewals, resident retention, filing, reporting, and marketing efforts. Minimum HS diploma and 1 year of customer service are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or higher required.
• 1 year of customer service experience required.
• Leasing/property management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop knowledge of application information, screening processes and rental policies.
• Play an active role in the renewal process.
• Develop and maintain a resident retention program.
• Handle resident requests and complaints courteously and efficiently.
• Maintain resident and property files.
• Process administrative forms, reports and related information timely.
• Ensure model and target apartments are ready for showing and maintain a clean, orderly work area.
• Be familiar with lease terms, specifications and community policies.
• Know required telephone and sales techniques.
• Stay aware of current market conditions and property amenities.
• Assist in marketing the property as directed.
• Operate in accordance with OSHA standards and fair housing rules.
• Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents.
• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude; seek self-improvement opportunities.
• Participate in other tasks as the Property Manager deems appropriate.

Schedule: Full-Time

• Monday - Friday10a-6p
• Occasional Saturdays 10a-4p

Compensation: $21-$23

Responsibilities:

• Develop full knowledge of application information required, screening processes and policies regarding rentals.
• Responsible for playing an active role in the renewal process.
• Develop and maintain an on-going resident retention program under direction of Property Manager.
• Courteous, efficient handling of resident requests and complaints.
• Responsible for proper maintenance of resident and property files.
• Efficient and timely processing of all required administrative forms, reports and related information.
• Responsible for ensuring the “model” apartments and target apartments are ready for show; responsible for maintaining work areas and office in a clean and orderly manner; need to have an awareness of the “curb appeal” of the property.
• Thorough knowledge of lease terms, specifications and all community policies.
• Knowledgeable of required telephone and sales techniques.
• Knowledgeable of current market conditions.
• Responsible for “shopping” competitive properties and completing market updates.
• Responsible for maintaining a leasing closing ratio that meets Bader’s requirements.
• Fully informed of current rental rates, sizes, locations and all amenities of property.
• Responsible for participating in the marketing of the property as directed.
• Responsible for operating within OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) standards and company safety policies at all times.
• Comply with all industry Fair Housing rules.
• Responsible for reporting unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents.
• Responsible for maintaining a professional appearance and attitude at all times.
• Responsible for seeking educational opportunities and self-improvement for personal growth and development.
• Anything else that the Property Manager feels may fall into the Leasing Consultant’s job description.
