Job summary

KPM is seeking a dynamic Leasing Consultant to connect prospective residents with their ideal homes and guide them from inquiry to lease signing. You will greet visitors, conduct tours, process applications, and maintain accurate records, all while delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

This role emphasizes hospitality, sales, and teamwork with property management to achieve high occupancy and a vibrant community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year in sales, leasing, hospitality, retail, or another customer-facing role.
• Comfortable asking for the sale and following up persistently without being pushy.
• Strong written and verbal communication; professional phone and email presence.
• Basic computer skills (email, calendars, Microsoft Office or Google Workspace).
• Availability to work Saturdays and occasional evenings during peak leasing season.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Greet walk-ins and assist with information about available properties and community features.
• Tour models and amenities; match prospects to the right floor plan.
• Follow up on every lead until it closes or dies via phone, text, and email.
• Process applications and verify income and screening results.
• Prepare lease documents, addenda, and renewal agreements.
• Maintain guest cards, traffic logs, and conversion data in the PM system.
• Hit weekly leasing, closing-ratio, and follow-up goals.
