Job summary

Fairstead is seeking a Leasing Consultant for our on-site team in North Las Vegas, NV. You will greet visitors, present models, tours, and amenities, and guide prospects through the application and lease process to close deals.

In this role, you will follow up on leads, coordinate with maintenance and residents, and contribute to resident relations and promotions. A positive, sales-driven hospitality mindset is essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year in sales, leasing, hospitality, or customer-facing role.
• Able to ask for the sale and follow up persistently without being pushy.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Basic computer skills (email, calendars, MS Office or Google Workspace).
• Availability to work Saturdays and occasional evenings.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Prior multifamily leasing experience (preferred).
• Familiarity with property management software (Yardi/Entrata/RealPage).
• Understanding of Fair Housing requirements (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Greet walk-ins, answer calls and internet leads, and schedule appointments.
• Tour models, available units, and amenities; match prospects to the right floor plan.
• Follow up on every lead until it closes or dies — phone, text, and email.
• Process applications: income and credit screening, verification, and approvals.
• Prepare and execute lease documents, addenda, and renewal agreements.
• Maintain accurate guest cards, traffic logs, and conversion data in the property management system.
• Hit individual weekly leasing, closing-ratio, and follow-up goals.
• Conduct competitor market surveys and report on pricing, specials, and concessions.
• Contribute photos, video, and content for social media and listing sites.
• Support outreach to local employers, referral partners, and neighborhood businesses.
• Help plan and staff resident events and leasing promotions.
• Keep models, the tour path, and the leasing office show-ready every day.
• Welcome new residents and complete move-in orientations and paperwork.
• Run renewal outreach and lease-expiration follow-up.
• Take service requests, route them to maintenance, and follow up to confirm resolution.
• Assist with resident communications, packages, and general office coverage.
• Walk vacant units for market-ready condition before showings.
• Note curb appeal, safety, and maintenance issues while walking the property.
• Assist with renewals paperwork, notices, and file maintenance in compliance with Fair Housing law.
• Support the office team with general administrative tasks as needed.
