Job summary

The Meridian South in Indianapolis is seeking a Leasing Consultant to maximize occupancy by engaging qualified traffic, networking in the local community, scheduling appointments, and coordinating move-ins.

You will promote resident retention and deliver exceptional customer service, with accountability for marketing efforts, referrals, and community events in a fast-paced leasing office.

Qualifications

• 1-year customer service or sales experience or relevant education.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word/Excel).
• Excellent English communication, verbal and written.
• Ability to walk apartments and grounds, stairs included.
• Valid driver’s license required; weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Conduct leasing activities, respond to inquiries, give tours, and coordinate move-ins.
• Support on-site marketing and community outreach programs.
• Develop referrals and move-in packet initiatives.
• Drive outreach plans for new development and community management.
• Recommend strategies to improve traffic and closing ratios.
• Attend weekly marketing meetings and maintain shop scores ≥85%.
• Maintain all leasing office standards and property appearance.
