Overview

As a Leasing Consultant, your primary responsibility is to market, show, and lease apartments to prospective tenants. You will respond promptly and courteously to all applicants and residents, handling leasing, marketing, and resident relations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain an accurate inventory of available apartments, prospective residents, and renewal information.
• Establish rapport with prospective residents, assess their needs, and present the community accordingly.
• Schedule apartment showings, address objections, secure lease commitments, and follow up with undecided prospects.
• Verify rental applications for accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Prepare move-in and welcome packages.
• Assist with move-in/move-out processes and ensure apartments are clean and attractive for showings.
• Assist in rent collection and maintenance request processing.
• Contribute to community newsletters and resident activities.
• Support the Community Manager and Assistant Community Manager, stepping in during their absence.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or 6 months to 1 year related leasing experience.
• Proficiency in both Spanish and English is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Well-organized, professional, friendly, enthusiastic, and diligent.
• Knowledge of Word Processing, Spreadsheet, and Internet software.
• Physical ability to lift/move up to 25 pounds and stand, walk, sit, and communicate effectively.
