Job summary

Bell Partners is seeking a focused Leasing Consultant to warmly welcome residents and prospects, coordinate tours, and respond to leasing inquiries. You will interact with current residents on day-to-day issues and coordinate renewals, serving as a central liaison among residents, management, and maintenance teams.

The role emphasizes leasing effectively within budget, upholding Fair Housing standards, and following up on traffic trends.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ customer service experience; hospitality or apartment leasing role.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Professional image and team player.
• Ability to work with MS Office Suite.
• BAL strategic drivers alignment and Bell Core Values understanding.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the welcoming first point of contact for residents, prospects, and visitors to the community.
• Effectively lease apartments and sell property’s products and services in accordance with budget.
• Ensure Fair Housing Standards in all matters when working with prospects and residents.
• Follow up on leasing traffic entries and monitor traffic trends.
• Maintain thorough product knowledge of property and competition.
• Assist with marketing activities to position Bell communities as communities of choice.
• Coordinate the resident application review in accordance with Bell guidelines.
• Complete lease packets and files for each resident including the lease, addendums and forms.
• Regular attendance and punctuality; proper documentation.
• Follow up with residents throughout the lease; respond to inquiries and issues timely.

The Leasing Consultant is responsible for welcoming prospective residents to the community, coordinating tours, and responding to incoming inquiries about leasing. The position will also interact with current residents regarding day-to-day issues as well as coordinating the renewals of existing leases. The Leasing Consultant will serve as a central point of communication between the Community residents, Community management, as well as community maintenance teams.

What you’ll do to make a difference:

• Receive any resident inquiries, complaints, or issues and provide timely follow up

What you bring to our team:

• Understanding of and alignment with Bell Core Values
• High School diploma or GED
• 1+ years’ customer service experience; hospitality or apartment leasing role
• Must demonstrate support of BAL strategic drivers, Must demonstrate ability to provide exceptional customer service, Must be able to work on a team or in a team environment, Must present a professional image Must be resourceful and well-organized. Ability to successfully work on a team
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite

Physical requirements of the job:

• Walking, bending, reaching, climbing, and lifting to 30 lbs.
• Ability to work with mechanical and electrical equipment, as well as hazardous materials
• Must be comfortable with heights and moving heavy objects

Compensation Range

Hourly: $22.00 - $24.00 Incentive compensation opportunities are available and are performance based.
