Job Summary

As a Leasing Consultant, you will be the first point of contact for prospective residents and will be responsible for guiding them through the leasing process, from initial inquiry to move-in. You’ll handle inquiries, assist with leasing processes, and work closely with on-site teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. You will showcase our communities, highlight amenities, and provide exceptional service to both new and existing residents. Your ability to build rapport, communicate effectively, and create a positive first impression will be essential to achieving leasing goals and maintaining strong resident satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Engage with prospective residents by providing property tours, answering inquiries, and promoting community amenities.
  2. Drive occupancy goals by effectively communicating the benefits of Arcan Capital’s apartment homes and guiding prospects through the application process.
  3. Assist with leasing operations, including processing applications, conducting background checks, and preparing lease agreements.
  4. Ensure move-in readiness by coordinating apartment inspections and ensuring all necessary preparations are complete.
  5. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing resident concerns, handling lease renewals, and fostering a welcoming environment.
  6. Manage leasing-related administrative tasks, including maintaining accurate resident records.
  7. Respond promptly to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions, always ensuring a professional and friendly approach.
  8. Maintain knowledge of market trends and competitor properties to effectively position Arcan Capital’s communities.
  9. Support community events and resident engagement initiatives to enhance the living experience.
Qualifications & Skills
  1. Customer service-oriented mindset with a passion for helping people.
  2. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  3. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) a plus.
  6. Team player with a positive, professional attitude and a commitment to excellence.
  7. Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
Education & Experience
  1. Prior experience in customer service, leasing, hospitality, or administrative support is preferred but not required.
  2. Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  3. High school diploma or equivalent required.
