Job summary

Westdale Asset Management seeks a Leasing Consultant for our 116-unit community in Waco, TX. You will greet prospects, show apartments, close leases, and process applications in compliance with fair housing laws.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in leasing, strong communication, and the ability to type 30 WPM. Weekend availability and bilingual English/Spanish are a plus in our energetic, benefits-rich environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of leasing consultant experience.
• Good leasing and closing skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to type 30 WPM and be organized.
• Computer skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Yardi or other similar programs.
• Must be able to work weekends.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greeting visitors and residents.
• Answering and returning resident calls, as well as email requests.
• Completing guest cards and lease paperwork correctly and timely.
• Selling features and amenities to prospective residents.
• Showing apartments.
• Securing leases.

As Leasing Consultant, you make that important first connection with potential residents; you also make a difference in people’s lives by helping them find their perfect apartment home. Work Hours: Mon, Thurs, Fri 9:00 am - 5:00 pm; Tues 9:00 am - 1:00 pm; Sat 10:00 am - 5:00 pm; Sun 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Required License or Certification: Valid Texas Driver’s License.
