Flaherty & Collins Properties is seeking a Leasing Consultant in Overland Park, KS. This role focuses on greeting prospective residents, presenting property features, and guiding applicants through the leasing process to secure leases that meet community goals.

You will work with a team to maintain high occupancy, stay informed about local market trends, and contribute to creating vibrant, welcoming communities for residents and their families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in leasing, sales, or customer service, or willingness to learn.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
• Comfort with property-management software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage prospective residents.
• Showcase features and amenities to prospects.
• Guide applicants through the leasing process with care and accuracy.
• Prepare and execute lease agreements in compliance with legal requirements.
• Build relationships with current residents and foster a sense of belonging.
• Collaborate with teammates to meet leasing and occupancy goals.

• Be the welcoming face of our community, greeting and engaging with prospective residents as they explore our property.
• Showcase the unique features and amenities that make our property feel like home.
• Guide prospective residents through the leasing process with care and attention to detail, making it as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
• Prepareand executelease agreements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.
• Build lasting relationships with current residents by addressing their needs and creating a sense of belonging.
• Be a problem solver and a go-to resource for questions and concerns, ensuring every interaction leaves a positive impression.
• Collaborate with your teammates to achieve leasing and occupancy goals.
• Stay in the know about local market trends and competitor offerings so you can always highlight what makes us stand out.
• Help plan and host fun and engaging resident events that bring the community together.

What Makes You a Great Fit:

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• You're a natural communicator with a warm, approachable personality.
• You have experience in leasing, sales, or customer service—or you're eager to learn and grow in these areas.
